The Department of Agriculture- Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation program is hiring for the following positions:

Project Development Officer III

Project Development Officer II

Project Development Officer I

Administrative Assistant III

Project Development Officer III (SG 18)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Relevant Experiences:

  • Must be a graduate of Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Urban/Rural Development Planning and Management or related fields with project planning and management courses
  • At least two (2) years experience in project planning and management preferably in agribusiness/marketing (experience in value chain analysis studies or rapid market appraisal has an advantage)

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

• Good technical writing skills

• Must be competent in basic computer operations, e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point

• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills

• Team Player

Project Development Officer II (SG 15)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Relevant Experiences:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration/Management, Marketing and other related fields

• At least one (1) year of relevant experience in the preparation and evaluation of project proposal/ feasibility study/ business plan, enterprise development, livelihood projects, marketing, financial management, accounting, bookkeeping, financial audit, organizational management, strategic planning and community organizing

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills: .

  • Considerable knowledge in production, processing and marketing of agri-fishery based commodities
  • Operational knowledge on agri-fishery based enterprises
  • Understanding of business procedures including business financing, human resources, IT, operations and sales and marketing financing options for business start-ups and business expansions
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Project Development Officer I (SG 11)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Relevant Experiences:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Entrepreneurship, Business Marketing and other related fields; Administration/Management,

• At least one (1) year of relevant experience in marketing financial management, strategic planning, business planning, and project proposal preparation, monitoring and evaluation

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

• Considerable knowledge in production, processing and marketing of agri-fishery based commodities

• Operational knowledge on agri-fishery based enterprises

• Understanding of business procedures including business financing, human resources, IT, operations and sales and marketing financing options for business start-ups and business expansions

• Strong interpersonal skills

Administrative Assistant III (SG 9)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Relevant Experiences:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Office Administration or any other related course

• One (1) year of relevant experience

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

• Familiar with basics of records management

• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi- tasking skills

• Knowledgeable in Windows Operating System
