(2) PROJECT TECHNICAL ASSISTANT I (Contractual Position)
Project Staff, Full-time position
- Monthly salary: P27,811.00 (SG-10)
- Office: DOST-Special Projects Division, Bicutan, Taguig City
- Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s/College Degree preferably in Accountancy or with background in Accounting
The Project Technical Assistant I will directly report to the Chief of the Special Projects Division and will be responsible for the financial and technical monitoring of programs/projects including:
- Conduct initial review of financial and technical report submissions and supporting documents as required in the DOST-GIA guidelines;
- Maintain database/records pertaining to financial and technical monitoring of DOST- GIA programs/projects;
- Monitor and prepare regular reports on status of fund utilization, liquidation and submission of progress reports of DOST-GIA programs/projects;
- Coordinate with various offices for the progress report submissions of DOST-GIA funded programs/projects and liquidation of DOST-GIA funds; •
- Assist in the conduct of field monitoring and equipment inventory of DOST-GIA programs/projects;
- Assist in the preparation of correspondence and reports on DOST-GIA Program, and; Perform other tasks as may be assigned

- Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s/College Degree preferably in Accountancy or with background in Accounting

- Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s/College Degree preferably in Accountancy or with background in Accounting
The Project Technical Assistant V will directly report to the Chief of the Special Projects Division and will be responsible for the financial and technical monitoring of the programs/projects including:
- Conduct initial review of financial and technical report submissions and supporting documents as required in the DOST-GIA guidelines;
- Maintain database/records pertaining to financial and technical monitoring of DOST- GIA programs/projects;

- Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s/College Degree preferably in Sciences/Engineering
The Project Technical Assistant VI will directly report to the Chief of the Special Projects Division and will be responsible for the project proposal review and processing of programs/projects with the following duties and responsibilities:
- Process approval documents, fund releases and other requests of DOST programs/projects;
- Review completed and ongoing programs/projects funded under the DOST-GIA;
- Prepare accomplishment reports of major programs/projects;
- Coordinate with proponents, evaluators and monitors in the review and implementation of DOST-GIA programs/projects;
- Encode and update project status and other data in the DOST-GIA project database;
- Provide technical support to other committees/working groups as assigned;
- Conduct other tasks as may be assigned

- Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering or Information Systems
Experience in most if not all of the following:
- PHP, ASP VBScript, JavaScript
- HTML, CSS, Joomla Development Framework
- API (RESTful, SOAP)
- Database design and reporting (MSSQL, MYSQL, ADO)
- Windows/Linux Administration
- Participation in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle including business requirements review, technical design, coding and unit testing, integrating, testing, release documentation, post-implementation support, etc.
- Writing software requirements specifications (SRS), software design documents (SDD), and unit test plans (UTP)
The Project Technical Specialist III will directly report to the Chief of the Special Projects Division and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of information systems of the Division with the following duties and responsibilities:
- Create Software Requirements Specifications and Software Design Specification Documents;
- Revise and update programs and documentation as required;
- Design, develop and implement information systems according to specifications;
- Address issues/bugs encountered in existing systems; ·
- Work with various stakeholders to define and design system requirements;
- Conduct end-user trainings to operate new and existing information systems;
- Perform other technical tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

- Relevant trainings on specific programming languages;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
