Community Affairs Officer III

Contract of Service

Salary Grade 18

Place of Assignment: PUVMP-NPMO LTFRB-Central Office East Avenue, Quezon City

Number of available position: 1

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

2 Years Relevant Experience and 8 Hours Relevant Training

Job Description:

  1. Applies a broad range of community development and engagement processes and practices to assist the community and transport groups to identify their needs, issues, and concerns to help them organize;
  2. Builds relationships and networks with target transport groups to encourage their participation in local activities and projects with emphasis on hard to engage/disengaged transport groups to strengthen their participation;
  3. Develops and implements plans, and strategies to promote the formation of transport group:
  4. Coordinates with Local Government Units, and OTC and other attached agencies regarding the conduct of activities relating to the industry consolidation;
  5. Documents activities of the unit and prepares regular and special reports and other outputs as may be required;
  6. Performs other related task as may be assigned.

Communications Development Officer I

1 Year Relevant Experience and 4 Hours Relevant Training

Job Description:

  1. Participate in the development of Communication Plan for the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP):
  2. Assist in the fleet modernization program of PUVMP;
  3. Assist in organizing Focus Group Discussions (FGD) during engegement with various stakeholders of PUVMP;
  4. Act as representative of PUVMP team to the Communications Department in providing announcements and official communication (written, social media, etc) and collate feedback from stakeholders;
  5. Responds to suggestions, proposals, and complaints concerning transport sector policies and projects through written communications and coordination with the concerned offices such as government departments, agencies, companies, consultants, other independent and partner institutions and other stakeholders;
  6. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

GIS Specialist( Engineer II)

Contract of Service

Salary Grade 16

Place of Assignment:1 PUVMP NPMO LTFRB Central Office East Avenue, Quezon City

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

1 Year GIS Relevant Experience

Job Description:

  1. Analyze data, programming related routes;
  2. Design an efficient database and develop customize GIS according to the need of the department
  3. Manage various complex GIS task on computer and provide training or assistance in preparation of report;
  4. Administer and identify appropriate locations and recommend optimal use of resources, analyze all map information from external sources such as Google Maps and Earth;
  5. Prepare a Map of routes per region;
  6. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Technical Support Assistant

Contract of Service

Salary Grade 10

Place of Assignment: PUVMP-NPMO LTFRB-Central Office East Avenue, Quezon City

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Experience and Training not required

Job Description:

  1. Carry out research and identify strategic options with respect to areas or topics assigned;
  2. Provide research and conduct survey if necessary in order to develop technical report for the PUV Modernization Program;
  3. Develop and report program/project concepts and frameworks that will address or respond to issues and concerns based on outcome of research studies and surveys;
  4. Conduct site visits, stakeholder consultations, or attend meetings with any relevant agency, institution, or party, or attend to any matter, whether inside or outside of NCR, as may be necessary on the discharge of his and her duties under this contract;
  5. Perform other duties that may be assigrned from time-to-time.
