Clerk III

Position/Job Description:

  • Provide assistance in the conduct of activities and meetings such as but not limited to the preparation of materials, photocopying, labeling of documents, and the like
  • Receive, acknowledge, and/or disseminate documents related to the advisory function of NAST
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of administrative requirements including but not limited to procurement of supplies and materials
  • Assist in records keeping such as organizing of dead files of the unit of NAST for turn-over to NAST Records Officer
  • Perform tasks that may be assigned from time to time

  Skills/Competencies required:

  • Basic Knowledge on Computer Software/Applications
  • Basic Technical/Business Writing
  • Basic Interpersonal skills – works well in a team

  Qualifications:

  • Completion of two-years studies in college preferably Office Management or any related course
  • No required experience
  • No required training

Compensation: P20,252.00/month
Period of engagement: July 1 to December 31, 2022 (with possible renewal)

Science Research Specialist II

Position/Job Description:

  • Conduct research on the different science and technology concerns of NAST and its members;
  • Analyze and interpret research results;
  • Organize policy fora/roundtable discussions/seminars related to the identified S&T concerns;
  • Prepared required reports, press releases and other writing needs; and
  • Provide administrative support to the Special Concerns; and
  • Perform other duties assigned from time to time.

  • Above average program-solving skills – uses good judgement and resolves problems/concerns regarding assigned tasks

  • Master’s degree in any field related to agriculture, biological, engineering, mathematical, physical and social sciences

Science Research Assistant

Position/Job Description:

  • Assist in the implementation of plans, programs and activities related to the operation and maintenance of the Philippine Science Heritage Center (PSHC)
  • Maintain updated files and records about all activities and programs under the function
  • Establish e-files of all PSHC activities, which includes but not limited to encoding of curriculum vitae of resource persons, results of surveys, etc. and later on update and maintain the same
  • Assist in the gathering and encoding of data related to the conduct of surveys, evaluation and scoping activities identified under the project and activities under the PSHC
  • Perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support the function

Skills/Competencies required:

  • Computer literate
  • Completion of two years college
  • One (1) year relevant experience
  • Four (4) hours relevant training

Compensation: P24,482.00/month
Period of engagement: July 4 to December 31, 2022
